For a complete list of Precinct Convention times and locations for March 10, 2018, please click here.
Travis GOP will have precinct conventions on the Saturday following the Primary election rather than on the night of the election.
Official precinct convention notices should be posted to the door or main entrance of your precinct's voting location on primary election night. The list is posted here as a courtesy and we will do our best to make sure it is accurate. Please check with your precinct chairman (click here for directory) if you have any questions. If your precinct does not have a chairman your default location will be Central Texas Gun Works (please check the locations link above for address and exact times).
For more information on the convention process -- including what it means to be a precinct, county, SD, or state delegate, and plans being made to host the biennial county convention -- please see our Travis GOP Conventions site.

The Travis County GOP and the Hays County GOP have scheduled a joint candidate forum on Thursday, Feb. 1 from 6-8pm at the TDS Exotic Game Ranch (right on the county line), 11508 Carl Rd, Buda, TX 78610.
We will have all the candidates who can attend participate together. There are 18 candidates, so this will be a major undertaking! If you're close to any of the campaigns please put in a good word for this forum as we hope to have ALL candidates present.
We plan to livestream the event.
NOTE: Due to inclement weather, the Ken Paxton event for Chairman's Circle members has been moved to Wednesday, Jan. 24. We apologize for any inconvenience, but the bright side is that the deadline for registration has been extended to Monday, Jan. 22! Let us know ASAP if you would like to join and attend.

The Travis County Republican Party (TCRP) Executive Committee on November 14th unanimously passed a ballot security resolution supporting the purchase of a new Travis County election system that utilizes a paper ballot so that voters may verify their vote and where election results may be manually counted in the event of a recount.
The resolution, initiated by the TCRP’s recently formed Election Security Committee, highlights that the state Republican Party Platform supports the use of paper ballots.
This TCRP resolution is right on the mark. In early November, the Travis County Elections office published a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) for vendors to submit their next generation election systems. Travis County Clerk, Dana DeBeauvoir, has made it clear that the new election system must provide, “better security and a paper trail.”Read more
