UPDATE: Next event scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 4! RSVP here.
Our inaugural Girls and Guns event on Oct. 30 was a success, and a perfect complement to pro-Second Amendment testimony at the Capitol that day -- even with some media attention! We hope to offer this event on a monthly basis for women who wish to improve their aim.
Whether this is your first time to hold a gun or you're an experienced pro, there's a place for you among friends.
Your ticket purchase includes the Range lanes, guns, and safety ear and eyewear. Ammunition is extra and can be purchased on site. Bring your own gun(s) or use guns from The Range. After costs from The Range Austin, proceeds will benefit the Travis County Republican Party as it gears up for 2020 Elections.
The first half-hour we will have a gun safety training from a Range safety officer. The next 1.5 hours will be shooting practice. Austin Police Association Vice President Justin Berry, also one of 5+ Republican candidates for State Representative in District 47, has offered to give on-the-spot shooting pointers to us gals!
At 12:30 p.m., we will go back to our event room for an optional lunch if you have the time to stay and chat awhile. To avoid a flow breakup, we will be eating onsite. You are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch, or you may contact Elise Grusendorf at email@example.com to arrange a boxed lunch from an external restaurant.
We have a limited 30 number of non-refundable tickets for this first event. If all tickets are sold, email Lauren.firstname.lastname@example.org to get on the wait list as well as get priority registration for future events. Depending on interest, we may continue to offer these shooting socials monthly.
Come improve your gun game and leave with great friends and a better aim!
